Deep links and Copy link
Use Copy link to share a direct path to a view or item. The link opens the exact view, selection, or block when you have access.
Find Copy link in the context menu, the ⋯ menu, or the header. On a touch screen, use the item action. A link uses a stable identity such as a calternal-id, item ID, or block ID. It does not use a file name or path that can change when you rename or move an item.

The #^<block-id> form points to one Log entry or block in a Note. The heading form points to a heading in a Note. A saved search uses /search/saved/<id>; /s/<slug> is a public link.
If an item is deleted, calternal explains this and links to Trash when it can be restored. If you do not have access, calternal does not reveal whether the item exists.
